La Ligue de l’Enseignement des Bouches-du-Rhône is based in Marseille and works across civic education, associative life, school partnerships, and international solidarity. Part of one of France’s oldest and most extensive civic education networks, founded in 1866, Ligue 13 works daily with young people from diverse social, cultural, and geographic backgrounds in a city defined by its extraordinary diversity and its complex social fabric. The organization is deeply embedded in Marseille’s schools, community centers, and civic life, running programmes on democratic participation, intercultural dialogue, and youth empowerment. In EU FACTOR, Ligue 13 leads the community bootcamp programme across all three countries and coordinates the cross-border youth exchanges and advocacy activities.
