Hand to Hand Against Nation Apathy – H.A.N.A is a women-led grassroots civil society organization and youth civic space based in Lezhë, Northern Albania. Founded in 2018, H.A.N.A is the only dedicated youth center in the municipality, working at the intersection of media literacy, democratic engagement, civic advocacy, and youth empowerment. Operating in a context marked by significant democratic challenges, H.A.N.A works directly with young people, local institutions, and community networks to build active citizenship from the ground up. In EU FACTOR, H.A.N.A leads the transnational youth newsroom and coordinates the project’s communication, visibility, and dissemination strategy across all three countries.
